# Invite your team

> Invite people to a workspace by email, choose a role for them, and know when invites expire.

Invite colleagues to a workspace so they can build, review or view forms with you. Everyone you invite receives an email.

## Invite people

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the workspace">
    Select the workspace in the **WORKSPACES** list in the left sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Invite user">
    Click **Invite user** in the workspace header. The **Invite people** dialog opens.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a role">
    Choose **Admin**, **Manager**, **Member** or **Viewer**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add email addresses">
    Type an address and click **Add**, or press Enter. Each address is queued, so you can add several people at once.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send the invites">
    Click **Send invite**. Click **Cancel** to close the dialog without sending.
  </Step>

Invites expire after 7 days.

## Roles

In general terms, roles work like this:

| Role | In general |
| - | - |
| **Admin** | Manages the workspace and its people. |
| **Manager** | Manages forms and invites. |
| **Member** | Creates and edits forms. |
| **Viewer** | Can view. |

  These descriptions are a general guide, not a full list of permissions. Pick the role that matches how much a person needs to do in the workspace.
